Planning travel since 1980, Cheryl started her life overseas — born in Panama City and raised on the island of Aruba from age two. She taught high school in Los Angeles before moving to Albuquerque with her Air Force husband, who grew up between LA and Hanalei, Kauai. She opened her own agency in 1984, and it became All World Travel in 2014. She has visited Hawaii Island twenty-two times, Kauai twenty-two times, and speaks Spanish — she knows the islands and the Caribbean like only someone who grew up on one can.

What is your favorite destination and why?
"I was born in Panama and raised in Aruba — islands are in my blood. Hawaii I have visited more than twenty times, Kauai twenty-two times. Beach and sun is not a specialty, it is a lifestyle."
What is your travel philosophy?
"I started in the travel business in 1980 and opened my own agency in 1984. I continue to enjoy my work and my clients — forty years and counting. The islands taught me that travel should feel like coming home."
Most memorable travel moment?
"A first-time international traveler to Aruba — she was scared, and I made it feel like next door. She came home and booked her next trip the same week. That is what a local's knowledge can do."
