What is your favorite destination and why?
"Australia. I have been six times and every trip reveals something new. The South Pacific is my specialty — the islands, the reef, the wildlife — it gets under your skin. But I sell the world, from the Serengeti to the Great Wall."
What is your travel philosophy?
"My goal is to see that you have a worry-free vacation, save you planning time, and make sure your trip is even better than you expected. I build in serendipity time — the best moments are rarely on the itinerary, so I leave room for them to find you."
Most memorable travel moment?
"Watching the sun set over the Masai Mara. There is nothing like it — the silence, the light, the scale. I have been to Sydney six times and Bora Bora twice, but the wild ones stay with you."
